Bistro 35 opens at IU Health Starke Hospital

5/20/2015 (Knox, IN) - There's a new eatery in town that might seem to be in an unlikely place - Indiana University Health Starke Hospital. The Food & Nutrition Services Department at IU Health Starke Hospital is pleased to unveil a revamped dining experience open to the community called Bistro 35. The eatery is located in the same place inside the hospital on the first floor, and features new, delicious options.

"We're very excited about our new opening and want to welcome everyone to Bistro 35 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's a great place to come if you need a quick grab-n-go lunch, or if you need to sneak away from the office. Bring your laptop; we have guest wifi!," said Laura Boyd, manager of food and nutrition services at the hospital.

Bistro 35 features delicious healthy options such as a salad bar with grains, fruit salads and pre-made salads, spicy black bean burgers, and garden sandwiches and wraps. The café also features a full-service grill with burgers and other options, and some tasty new sauces that can be added to any dish: Kentucky bourbon, Asian ginger, balsamic onion glaze, parmesan garlic sauce and chipotle glaze.

Bistro 35 will open with its new look on May 21, and during opening day patrons can enjoy free samples of the new tasty items.

Hours are 7:30-10:30 a.m. for breakfast, 11:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. for lunch and dinner.
