Northwest Health Honors Physicians with Donation to Local Non-Profit Service Organizations

In celebration of National Doctors’ Day on March 30, Northwest Health’s three hospitals showed appreciation for its dedicated physicians by donating a total of $14,000 local nonprofit organizations.
National Doctors’ Day is a special occasion to recognize and thank doctors for their unwavering compassion and commitment to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities. It serves as a time to honor their tireless efforts and heroic contributions.
The following organizations received donations:
- Northwest Health – La Porte contributed $6,000 to Dunebrook, an organization that advocates for and empowers children and families with the goal of keeping children safe, healthy and happy.
- Northwest Health – Porter contributed $6,000 to The Boys and Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana to benefit their programs and clubs in Porter County. The Boys and Girls Clubs inspire and enable area youth to realize their full potential.
- Northwest Health – Starke contributed $2,000 to Kid’s Closet Ministry in North Judson, Indiana. Kid’s Closet provides clothing and other items to children in need.
National Doctors’ Day serves as a reminder of the invaluable contributions that physicians make to the health of individuals and communities. At Northwest Health, this recognition highlights the hospitals’ ongoing commitment to not only patient care but also to supporting organizations that make a positive impact in the communities they serve.
